I am playing Transiruby, a charming little metroid-em-up by Skipmore. The game has the same chunky pixel look he used in Fairune, and a good deal of personality. Also, your red-haired robot girl avatar can transform into a motorcycle and drive on water(and her support droid's description of the upgrade sends her into excited hyperventilation, because the game has personality). I dunno what to say about it other than it is charming and I like it. In unrelated news, I found out there is still someone selling legal copies of the Dukes Nukem that aren't FPS games in AD 2022. https://www.zoom-platform.com/search/any/3d-realms/any/any/any/any/any/any I confess to being rather surprised. I don't know if they had a long-term license with Apogee before they sold out the Duke, if they were just the only store willing to nag the hell out of Gearbox about it, or what. But there's still actually someone that will take your money to give you copies of Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project today. --- In UTF-16, where available. --- |

Posted by wertigonMSRP does not indicate cost of manufacture. It is literally a suggested retail price. Anyways, with nVidia and AMD both having been savaged for cranking MSRP up in the last couple of releases, we already KNOW they're both trying to boost profits wildly and normalize current going rates. We don't actually need an MSRP on this card to tell us what a decade of pricing data shows. --- In UTF-16, where available. --- |

Bumped because I just rewatched God Bless Dancouga. I just wanted to say that I love how Dancouga starts out about as "real robot" as you can get, and by the end of it they're stabbing a god in the face with a blazing sword. ... And maybe ponder why Dancouga never comes up when people start arguing about which mech is the most powerful in all of anime. Gurren-Lagann throws galaxies like ninja stars? A. That's not at all what was going on, and B. Dancouga killed a god. Getter Emperor shatters planets with the shockwaves from its transformation? Dancouga killed a god. Ideon destroyed and remade the entire universe? Wait a second, that basically means Ideon is the Dancouga's natural prey, doesn't it? --- In UTF-16, where available. --- |

We asked Putin nicely to stop and he ignored us, so now we will ask him SLIGHTLY LESS NICELY, because that worked really well with Hitler. Seriously, if they're gonna directly compare it to WW2, maybe remember what it took to end this last time. When sanctions don't work, you need to be willing to follow up with something more direct. And if you aren't willing, then your pretty words are meaningless and you shouldn't bother with the sanctions. --- In UTF-16, where available. --- |

SPEAKING OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS... Ukraine had them. They had the third-largest stockpile in the world after the collapse of the USSR. They gave them up in exchange for written promises of protection from the US, UK, and Russia. (Specifically, they delivered them to Russia.) Twenty years later, one signatory of the agreement is an active aggressor (again) and the other two are wringing their hands wailing about how terrible this is and how impotent they are. Good look, everyone. This will DEFINITELY ensure other countries trust us to uphold our bargains and that they aren't just pieces of paper to be acknowledged when it is convenient. --- In UTF-16, where available. --- |
