I actually prefer Lavos's second form to the final battle.

But Lavos is a chump anyways. Zophar knows where it's at.

    This: http://www.komatsuna-ya.com/~nekonomikan/dmc/cheetah.html

Yes, you're reading it right: Someone made an arrangement album about Cheetahmen. YES, THE CHEETAHMEN, as seen in "Active Enterprises' Most Epic Fails" and in a couple of reviews by the AVGN. And it had to be a doujin circle, of all things!

Normally I don't give a damn about Dangerous Mezashi Cat works, as they're not usually my cup of tea. Except that they managed to get Ayumi Nomiya to do the vocals for the first track. If you don't know her, I highgly suggest listening to the entire ALiCE'S EMOTiON library, as she is usually there doing delicious vocals for awesome Touhou arranges there. In fact, it's extremely unusual to find her performing vocals for works outside that circle (I'm aware that she has her own circle for her original works, but I've been unable to find more information, xfades, or even an actual rip), much less non-Touhou works!

For that very reason alone I ended searching fucking everywhere for that goddamned album... just to met with dead links, unseeded torrents, and Chinese paywalls. Joy. Finally, after losing all hopes, some random anon at a (now defunct) message board brought the real deal. On lossless, no less! Go listen the album, it kicks your ass. And the cheetah's ass too.

If you excuse me, I'll be busy trying to find which dicks I have to suck in Japan so I can get any CrazyBus arranges out there for the next Comiket. Or the M3, I'm not picky.

Well the nice thing with CT is you can make the Lavos fight as easy or as hard as you want. Last time I played the game I tried fighting Lavos at level ~35-36 I think -basically without doing any of the optional quests...Barely defeated the 2nd form and got literally one-shot-ed by his Grandstone attack (which did over 1k damage on all members). I'm sure it's doable at that level and with that equipment but it's tough (at the very least make sure you have protect and/or barrier to avoid getting one-shoted). I did the Sunstone quest and Robo's Ro(bo)mance/Mother factory quest..leveled up around 45 and it was a piece of cake (Crono-Marle-Frog with haste cast on the whole party, spamming their triple tech).

Sorry, I didn't mean Lavos is a chump because he's easy. I meant he has inferior taste in music and a lack of ambition. Any jerkface can wreck a world, strip it of all its resources, and move on. Few can seize the power of creation from the gods and remake the world in their own image.

meh,he's basically just your typical edgy, overly fragile troll. Zophar is every bland J-RPG trope all in one.The design of Lavos is more interesting and ultimately superior in its effectiveness as an antagonist, unlike the stereotypical villain who invariably turns out to be just another ineffective loser.

Lavos has no ambition because it's essentially a giant scavenger, parasitic organism who fell and buried under the planet eons ago. There's no dumb "Gnya! I'm evil!" thing going on with it.

Actually, the game strongly implies Lavos is highly intelligent. A failure to communicate doesn't mean the other party is a mindless beast.

Also, many of the cliches present in the Lunar games weren't yet cliches when they came out.

Most importantly, Zophar could kick Lavos' ass in a fight.

    Queen Bee『Flame』Full Version「Dororo」OP
I've been playing this almost non-stop since I found the full version.
I really like something about this style of music, I don't know what the genre is called though. Does anyone know?

I still have no idea what I'm talking about.
