Huh I've never had any internet latency issues when doing online co-op in the original and in Enhanced Edition of Borderlands 1, admittedly I've only ever done co-op with 1 specific person who lives on the complete opposite side of Australia.

We've had issues in the Enhanced Edition where NPC's often used their Echo Recorder dialog even when standing next to them and quest objective markers being incorrect for Clients (predominantly in the main game, DLC always showed correct quest marker locations for the Client).

I made a fairly extensive list of problems with the Enhanced Edition here (some of the issues also occur in the original game): https://steamcommunity.com/app/729040/discussions/0/1813170373219248723/

I was fascinated to learn that Borderlands saves screenshots with "/" in the filename. I guess they're not using standard Win32 APIs for their filesystem access, then!

The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.

So I've been delving a bit into the ZX Spectrum (I don't know much about the ZX Spectrum emulation scene but so far, 'Fuse' works great).

The system -from what I played so far, is a weird beast. In some regards, it seem it has some decent components (Z80 running at 3.5MHz with 16KB of RAM -up to 128KB on later models I think), in others it seems downright terrible...namely; no real graphic dedicated hardware/chip and not much audio capabilities either (certainly when you compare it to something like the Famicom' sound capabilities which launched a little over a year later, in mid 83)

Despite its limitations, there's some genuinely technically impressive game on it. Seems there were a lot of talents in the UK at that time.

Also, if you thought Hard Drivin' was unplayable on something like the Megadrive wait until you play the ZX version The framerate oscillate between ~2 fps up to a whoopin' ~8fps.

Why would I play ANY home port when my local arcade has a Race Drivin' cab on the floor?

There's arcades that are still around? Never seen a Race Drivin' arcade in the wild, only Hard Drivin', but it does look like a clear improvement over HD' in terms of performance.

Kingdom Hearts 3 thoughts (No spoilers within):

    1) Target Lock-On doesn't engage until you release the button. This makes it feel extremely unresponsive.

    2) Target Lock-On doesn't focus the camera on the target. Character movement relative to the target is very unituitive when the camera doesn't follow said target.

    3) Why not make Target Lock-On occur when you press the button in and have the Camera begin following the Target when you release the button? Requires no changes to the control scheme for Shotlock. Makes Target Lock-On actually useful instead of a unresponsive confusing mess!

    4) FOV is slightly too high. The outer edges of the display are warped/angled inwards as you progressively look further in the distance. Distracting whenever the camera is in motion (not quite as bad as KH2 HD but still pretty bad).

    5) When acquiring a new ability there is no way to discern which character gained the ability without checking every character. You can only tell that someone has gained a new ability.

    6) Menu UI's are completely missing the Kingdom Hearts aesthetic and instead feels like a default Unity asset. Also the little glowing dancing orb on the currently highlighted menu option has a huge delay when moving between menu items (it slides to the next highlighted menu item), causing it to no longer serve any purpose other than to be distracting/cause the menu to be perceived as unresponsive.

    7) HUD is too small and everything is adjacent to the edge of the display instead of inset slightly, so it looks weird.

    8) It would be nice if there was a "New" tab for the Items UI and for it to default to that tab. Obviously it will list newly acquired items and additional acquisitions of previously obtained items (since you last checked your Items).

    9) Every couple seconds the Frame Rate drops in to the single digits for a extremely brief moment (lasts for less than a quarter of a second each occurrence/is micro-stutter), my TV's motion interpolation can't compensate for it. The frame rate is overall inconsistent as well unlike the original releases of KH1 and 2 which have consistent FPS throughout (and run on significantly inferior hardware). May be resolved by installing a faster HDD/SSD in to the PS4.

    10) No option to adjust the positioning of all Gummi blocks simultaneously when editing a ship.

    11) Item comparisons only show the end result, they do not simultaneously show information about the currently equipped item and the item you're deciding to replace it with nor does it display a Difference value. You only get a blue colour text = good, red colour text = bad and white colour text = same.

    12) Voice acting is not up to par with KH1 and 2 and dialog pacing isn't too good either. It's a servicable experience.

    13) When looking at characters in the Bestiary and Glossary there's no optoin to zoom the character model nor picot them.

    14) Being able to generate reaction commands by spamming attack/magic attack is kinda nutty... you spend every fight with a non-stop barrage of reaction commands available to use (so combat is all about flashy moves and less about gameplay). Also its dumb having reaction commands when you're not reacting to anything. If it required 33% more attacks/magic attacks to generate a Reaction command this way it'd maaaaybe put the mechanic in a good place (for Proud Mode and harder difficulty).

    15) Allow the Disable Attraction Attacks ability in Critical Mode to be accessible in all difficulties. It seems very arbitrary for it to be restricted to Critical Mode.

Super Mario Maker 2's online multiplayer will support teaming up with randoms, but it won't support teaming up with friends because... "reasons". Gotta play the game locally if you want to play with friends.

Super Mario Maker 2 might be the thing that leads me to actually pay for Nintendo Switch Online rather than just do everything offline on my custom firmware Switch.

RE2 remake Claire play-through. i thought it was harder than the original which is surprising and honestly welcomed in this day and age. when i first saw tyrant my first thought was "oh shit Q is in RE!" which could have been a thing i suppose given they're both characters from the same company and maybe share the same universe. but no, it's just another dude with a fedora hat...

If you're interested in watching a playthrough of the 2019 Resident Evil 2 game, than I strongly suggest you watch ProJared's playthrough on his Youtube channel.

has he posted any videos since all the drama? i always thought that guy was super creepy

The Duel: Test Drive II for Amiga (emulated with PUAE libretro)

Controls surprisingly well, despite it's relative low framerate. Definitely better than SNES version.

Also features guest voice actor Bill Paxton (RIP).

It's a cardboard disc with pictures on the outer edge and a inner disc that spins around and also has pictures on its outer edge and the game will tell you to line it up in various ways or some such, been a long time since I saw it lol. Gotta do what it says and enter the corresponding values in to the software to be able to play the game.
