I'm given to understand that this is a Switch problem, not a SwSh problem, related to poor ExFAT support on the system itself. This has reportedly also happened while playing Cadence of Hyrule, Breath of the Wild, and possibly others I can't recall, with the one common factor being ExFAT-formatted SD cards.

Only in LatAm, I reckon. A bus driver playing music here would be promptly fired. Buses are silent, save for the intercom.

Some (very few) stores and gyms play radio, and their proprietors might be under 50, so that might count depending on your definition of "listen". But most places use Youtube or Spotify.
For once I agree with you on something: here in the Netherlands, public transit is silent save for the intercom, and many stores play BGM, be it from the radio or whatever. I know one of the restaurants around here plays the radio at least.

So much was implied. The important part is that its ExFAT support is bugged.

Or, bear with me here...

They could've not supported ExFAT at all at first, maybe throw up a message about it if the card's ExFAT. Then, after MS released the specs, add ExFAT support in a system update.

Does that sound like a reasonable thing to do in another timeline?

Only if you get a confirmation that it wants to do so, a fair chance to cancel out and get another card.

Fair but stern warning to sureanem: your next post may determine your final fate on this board.

It's adversaries all the way down with you innit? You've made your point, repeatedly. It didn't get any better. Now keep your hands off the keyboard, in your pockets, and enjoy the idea of a guy making his own free/opensource computer.

Seriously, I will shut you up if you won't.

Yeah but I mean how do they check?
I wouldn't know for certain but...

You used to be able to generate NANDs from scratch, using fake data that resembled more of a real Wii rather than Dolphin defaults.
Way my sleep-deprived mind sees it, it's 1) the fact it's random and 2) that it's not just random.

I'm thinking of how GUID look totally random but actually have a format to them. And I don't mean the grouping. If you know the actual format behind GUID you can spot "fakes" that are just pure RNG instead of properly generated, and I think maybe Wii NAND may work similarly.

Mind you, I'm half asleep so that's your disclaimer folks.

Yeah, as an LGBTQ ally and admin of this board I'm gonna consider this your first warning. I get another report, you're outta here. Transphobes and such are not welcome on my server.

Now, you might wonder why it took this long for me to notice. That'd be because I have the political threads on ignore. So thank you StapleButter for your report.

Edit: considering how long it was since mnk was last here, let's just skip the warning.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't the cart connector's audio pins and the expansion port's audio pins be two separate pairs 🤔

I mean, if the Satellaview goes into one and the SGB/MSU1 in the other... but don't take my word on that, I only know of the cart side of things!

Ah yeah that's a feature where old threads get a warning on the newreply page about bumping it, and really old ones get autolocked. It's set to six and twelve months respectively. Let me just change that to six and 999 and unlock it for ya.

And the way the thread list is sorted to begin with wouldn't allow it. This is not a trivial change.

So. Stirfry hasn't learned a thing still, Y2K fixes are hacky, and the 9x-style Windows UI is a subtle fucker. What else've we got?

I still maintain that Windows 7 ought to be the standard operating system, however. In Windows 8 they just broke everything for no good reason and in Windows 10 they pulled the age-old trick of "selling a solution to their problem".
At least in this, we can agree to some non-zero extent.

The Win 10 calculator is much nicer than the Win 7 calculator, it has a mode where you can toggle individual bits in a number that I find very useful.
That's literally a feature in the Win7 calculator.
